I loved this Yvonne. You are one amazing and gutsy lady. I hope you continue these stories about your life, because you have certainly had an interesting one. I've had a lot of jobs but never driving a school bus or ambulance or working for a funeral home. Someone has to do and you were right for the job. I'm surprised about the fights at funerals. It seems an unlikely place, but you say it happened more than once.

It seems an unlikely place, but you say it happened more than once.

I was surprised by such behavior, too. Funerals bring out the worsst in some people. But I discovered if they were jerks then, they were jerks all the time. Thank you for this wonderful review!

Who would have thought such hilarity could abide within those chapels of ease? There is something inherently funny in any situation situation where laughter is inappropriate and what could be more inappropriate than laughter at a funeral?

Well, we never laughed where anyone could see us, and it was never mockery. Sort of black humor that people who deal with death in any way use to ease the situation.

I love your stories, and this was also an excellent one! Very different careers you had, and all told with wit and humour. I LOVE your response to the CEO, would love to have seen his face - and I admire your being quick enough to think of saying that on the spot, with so much going on around you. Lol.
I'm glad you said that about cutting the back of the funeral outfit. About fourteen years ago I bought a dress in my favourite colour but ner used it for the purpose I'd intended. So I thought it would be an excellent funeral dress. Then I realised i've grown a size so was going to give it away. Now I'll keep it for sure!!!

Thanks. Yes, I've outgrown my funeral clothes, but I know how it's done now, so I'll use them. Thank you for a wonderful review. I'll fix the boo-boo.
