Brilliant rendition, perfectly rhymed with musical flow. The poem is written with such conviction that motivates one to extend helping hand to others despite our personal challenges as a healing therapy. Well penned; well enjoyed. Thanks, dear NICKI, for sharing your inspirations. Lol.

The author's words are filled with meaning, are descriptive and creative.
I pondered on the theme and words of this poem and the poem resonated
with me. I liked how the author started with the words in the first stanza
and gradually led up to the insightful and hopeful words starting in stanza six - going right to the end of this poem! The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is awesome! Great Poem, Nicki!

Hi Nicki,
This simply rhymed poem that tells how simple it is to change from depression and doubt to happiness and clarity. Simple acts of kindness do this for both the giver and recipient.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy

I enjoyed reading this. I could picture a person sitting there in front of the TV, feeling they wanted to run from themselves, and then the effect faith has - the new meaning to life and a new way of looking at others. Lovely poem.

Hi Nicki,
I really loved this poem. Maybe it's just what I'm doing these days that's made me read it in more ways than one, but I really loved it... read it like 4 times.
It flowed very well, nothing to correct so far as I can tell poetically.
Good luck with the contest!
Susan :)

If I lived nearer, I would try to connect for a therapy session. I had a hard time following this piece you've written. Still, reaching fifty is an achievement. Congratulations.
