"The Visit" speaks an inspiring message that touches the lives of many who live beyond close friends. The beautiful image within the cloud seems to come alive as a most mysterious muse. Well done!

Thank you for all the stars, I am humbled! Believe everyone has a muse, mine speaks to me in dreams, sometimes has me act out the story as the protagonist. Thanks again, I appreciate your reading in-depth!

This is a wonderful story. I was captivated the whole time! I love the conversation between the main character and the ethereal woman about his past.
My favorite line is:
"All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence you know."
Great job and keep up the amazing work!

Thank you so much for reading, and the stars! Ernest Hemingway left several great sayings on the art of fictional narrative. I believe everyone has a Muse, you just have to find her.
Thanks again, irish

Dear irish, I don't know what happened but while I was reading this, tears were streaming down my cheeks. It's good to see you writing again. Your penmanship always stirs deep emotions in me, and this is a great example of provocative writing.
Leaves a lot to the imagination, no? Thank you for setting your great example of writing from the heart.
Blessings,

Thank you, I am so grateful for your support! I sincerely believe everyone has a Muse. Mine speaks to me in dreams, sometime has me acting out the story as the protagonist! Took a long while for me to find my Muse, then sometime to realize what she really was.
Thanks again, irish

I find this an enchanting writing of giving life to your muse in a poignant and wonderful story of how the muse inspires writing but also saved his life when he was in his deepest despair.
I truly enjoyed the read.

Mary

Either you are very lucky, or very clever, irish. My muse looks like Victor McGlaughlin, and sounds like Jerry Lewis.
This is a very tender story of longing for something to take the place of something irreplaceable. You're sensitive guy, and a hell of a writer.
Good luck with Thalia.
Peace, Lee

Wow, thank you for your in-depth review, and the galaxy of stars!
I realize I am a little crazy(Who the hell isn't?), but I do have a mystery lady who speaks to me in dreams and sometimes has me act out the story as the protagonist, so I experience the emotions, helps me write it out. Believe everyone has a Muse, you just have to find her.
Cheers, irish

Very good story. Called: 'Writer's Block' I get that way. Very interesting. There are so many things to write about but sometimes our minds just gets the best of us and makes us think wow what will I write? How will I start it? You did a good job.

I love this. It is so true to the experience those of us with muses havve, although mine tends to flit in and out eaving me with a phrase of a line or a thought to ponder in its wake. I love the description of the process, metaphoic or not. (maybe its the Irish blood...)

Those of us who are fortunate to recognize respect and heed the counsel and inspiration of our particular muse benefit so much from allowing our muse to do the thing they are best at doing. That is to lead us to where we need to be.

My name is John and I can relate to this quite readily. Walk a mile in my shoes is the message here. (for me.) It's a shame we can't get FanStorians together on a cruise ship for a week. Pass the word and I'll arrange it....John

Hi again John, thank you for reading, and you also read 'between the lines,' and got the message. And hey, great idea about the cruise, that would not only be a lot of fun, but would also be very instructive, getting ideas from the pros.
Cheers, irish
