That was quite a revelation. I knew her marriage was good but I didn't realize it was that bad. She seems relieved that she gotten that off her chest. She have feeling she probably didn't realize that she was capable of having. This is a very interesting story.

You'll have plenty of readers associating with Katherine's past. Things weren't as open back then and men often didn't treat wives with the respect they deserved - in the bedroom or not. i speak from experience, but even though it's water over the dam, it's hard to root it out of our sub-conscious mind.
