I think that you might possibly mean the other spelling of 'mantle' if you are referring to a candle that sets above a fireplace on a shelf. So that would be spelled: mantel.

Good poem that depicts an extreme faith and a well-addressed direction to pray and devotion! Your description and narrative is full of adjectives and combines in its middle point the internal sensations and the external signs. A difficult balance to achieve with "will" only. Nice travel!
