I truly enjoyed the beautiful and meaningful imagery in this lovely poem on faith. You chose a lovely piece of artwork to accompany it, but even without it, you words and phrases evoke your meaning. Well done.

This is just beautiful all the way 'round! The pretty blue feels soft and warm as you offer up this tribute to Jesus. It flows so nicely even with a set rhyme scheme. Very niceĆ· to read and see!

Wonderful sentiments about Christ and His call to us.
Is 'Tableau form' the type of poem that this is? I had never heard of it... or is that just the description of the form of the poem?
I enjoyed your poem.

Thank you for the encouraging comments.
The Tableau is a poetry form of five best per line and six lines per stanza. It can be one stanza or several. I have seen a few poems on FS that have used the form, but I found the description on the Shadow Poetry website.

This is very nicely composed, especially the first stanza ~ "to reach out and touch" the hem of his garment is enough to cure, a show of faith. Great job. Marilyn

Thank you, Marilyn. I think that is one of my favorite lines. Even when He is not watching, He is watching.

Hi Debi, I find this (almost exactly, but not quite... lol) Tableau form to be really nice. I've never seen one before. I love the flow and the imagery you have created with your words. Good job :)

Hi Susan,
Thank you for the fun review. To fit with the rest of the book I couldn't put 'Tableau' in the title of this poem as the Tableau form requires, but it fit the beats I needed for the first line so I 'borrowed' it. Thanks for stopping by to read and review.

Not familiar with this double tableau form. I was impressed you did a spiritual poem out of it. Favorite lines were: Kindness in your eyes,
emblems in your palms,
tokens in your feet,
and how wonderful to be able to read this on a Sunday night.
