So that's what it is called, huh? I remember trying to learn it as a young girl. It fascinated me that there was a way to write as fast as someone could talk. It never occurred to me to try to write out my thoughts. Now that kind of thinking is creative.
Like yours, my thoughts are slowing down. They are still too fast for me to hold on to them for very long. When I have a thought that I like, I quickly tell my phone. Later, I type it into my computer. I need a crutch for sure.
I enjoyed your tachygraphy poem. I still have a notebook for tachygraphy. It has a line down the middle of the green page.

My preferred method is to have my desk almost to collapsing point under a mountain of pieces of A4 paper, covered in chicken scrawl, written from every angle, and on both sides. This system is almost guaranteed to ensure that having once made a note about something of great importance, in most cases, I'll never see it again. Ah well, they do say, "A clean desk is a sign of a sick mind". So, I guess that means, much to the surprise of people who know me, I might actually be almost sane :) Thanks so much, Debbie. Craig

Actually my desk looks like that, too. Plus I do that phone thing.
