This was so sweet and thoughtful of you Christine. You provided a wealth of information regarding the transition from just a getting older to being a senior. I am sure the benefits in Australia are similar to those in the USA which are still slightly different from Canada. I guess it is the country's way of saying thank you for what we have each attributed to the wisdom and growth of the country. Yay to seniors. Well done, thanks for sharing.

Hi Ary, Thank you and a I do enjoy writing poems for my friends as well and yes ai am sure the benefits are similar. It makes me smile when you go to a hotel or restaurant and they offer Senior Meals half the size of a normal one, I think they think once you turn 60 you lose you apppetite and just need smaller meals LOL Ya to Seniors though some perks are a bonus Cheers Christine

You are very welcome Christine, whew I thought I was the only one who noticed that lol, but I will admit that as the years tick by I certainly don't eat as much. I have learned that if it is something I really like I order the regular meal, pay the regular price and take some home.

Hi Liberty Justice, Oh my Thank you so much for your great review and sxi stars I love writing for my friends and now I write a poem for each of my grandchildren when they turn 10. Hi Pam, Thank you for your lovely comments I have been busy and finally caught up It is challenging ( and costly) to write and promote daily but has been worth the time and money (2 to go)then A rest. Perhaps one a week Cheers Christine
