Yes, poetic revelstion doesn't seem to appear until it's good and ready Christian, you've got a goodie here dear girl, some great metaphor, my poem I posted today was like that, it's as if the writing appears on the page, wriitten in tetrameter/trimeter, beautifully paced, articulate and well crafted, in abcb rhyming, well done, blessings, Roy

Hi Roy, Thanks heaps for your great review and stars I must admit I do like this style of meter as you have guessed and find it just happens when I am composing I am always pleased to hear from you and have a lovely Autumn day. Weather very warm still here .hope it lasts LOL Cheers Christine

there is the depth in terms of content, the poet was able to describe how the month of april and the autumn season is interrelated, and even with the change of season and the month, still a person looks forward to a change as he ages.

I enjoyed it, Christine. Especially the autumn hues. I think Autumn is my favorite season. It gets to 115F here. I look forward to the sell off. You are keeping up the quality. Good luck. Your last stanza is fantastic. Thank you for sharing.
