Excellent flash fiction, Ulla.
We find a lady ruminating over a dark, handsome man she's met.
She's enamoured with not only his looks but her good luck in
meeting such a catch. Then you show us the twist in the tale. This
young miss is pulling petals off daisies to see whether she shows.
I wonder how many women actually do this. LOL
Excellent prose and great idea weal exposed.

For exactly 100 words, I'd say it's as good as a short story can get. He loves me, he loves me not...tonight I should know. Leaves the reader a little afraid for the little girl, but that's good in a story, right? Good job.

In a sense this is a story of love at first sight since the couple at the ball seem to have found each other. So I guess the daisy petals end with a loves me. I like the imagery.

Great one hundred word story. Very fun to read. I could picture the scene in this small vision. Stories like these are challenging. Editing and re edititng. constantly. I have no spag. You mus have edited your self well.

Good little story of a first meeting with "the" guy. Sometimes people just click. The nice thing about this story is we never know how it turned out in the end, so we can use our imaginations and keep writing the story in our heads. At least I do that. LOL! :)
