A lovely and heartfelt rendering of thoughts that could quietly surface and bob among any one of us on any given day. The image reinforces the freshness of hope coming soon in the form of something beautiful. No offers for improvement. Good luck in the contest!

"Hope is a song my heart dares to sing." This is a lovely poem about hope and faith. One should continue thriving for improvement and never give up hope that life will indeed improve. Poet's heart continues to sing and pray for hope. liberty justice

A pleasant discourse on the definition of hope. I particularly liked the last two stanzas that actually attempt to define the true nature of hope. The first part of the poem explains what you are looking for and builds towards the actual definition.

Beautifully written! Wonderful sentiment! The rhymes, the meter, the flow, and the message are all top notch. I need all the things you mentioned in your poem. I think most of us do. Well chosen words to describe what you want out of life. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and hopes with me. Good luck with the contest!
Peace, Jesse

Message and rhymes call for meter, in my opinion, but the prompt only says rhyme is demanded. Since rhymes are solid, length is proper, and hope is addressed, excellent.

This is a beautifully written, natural-flowing piece. Good cadence and true rhymes.
Lines I truly felt expressive:
I need the glint of better tomorrows
a crisp answer to uncertainty
hope is air beneath tattered wings (LOVE this one!)
One minor suggestion, change 'Could hope both be a vase....' to
'Could hope be both a vase ....'
Quite lovely and real.

Absolutely right.
"Hope is song my heart still dares to sing"
This is the reason I did not enter the contest...this is the best line I have heard and is a winner to me.
