Hi, Jay

_ HUH!! Killer last line for a hook!
_ Sooooo glad to see -MY- 'Doctrex' back. (*<*)
_ You always have to keep this series going----you know that, don't you?
_ This is a perfect time to bring in 'Truly Nolan' and exterminate good ole boy Glnot! Just sayin'.

_ OBSERVATION:
<< The way I read this---Glnot is addressing Doctrex with the...(?)
>> If that's the case, you need to put it on a separate line for Glont's reaction through Doctrex's eyes.
<< Below is my interpretation---is it incorrect?

_ "Doctrex?" ((Glnot speaking))

I glanced up in time to see him pull his eyes away from the circles I made and turn his puzzled gaze on me. ((Doctrex reaction))

"I want you to know I have no reason to tell you anything about Zarbs." ((Back to Glnot?))

Cheers & Blessings
Keep Smilin'... Jax (*:*)

I've done that before. Hit six when I meant a four. LOL, my goodness Jax. Thank you so much! I'll have to take a look at your concerns with this. It may take me a time just to find the references. In the meantime, bless you for the lovely chartreuse cross!
reply by Jacqueline M Franklin on 20-Sep-2015
Damn! I don't know how I did that! I'm really sorry about giving you a '4' when I meant to give you 'sixer!'(*<*)

I read this, studying your dialogues and just the overall format of the story. If I see most of your work it will also help me when writing myself.

Just posted my next chapter. I had time to figure out how I wanted the story to go over the weekend. This chapter is my favorite so far.

So the Almighty "Master baits" Doctrex. Ha - hum!!

Great descriptions of the almighty master - he's one dangerous man. Now he's insulted Doctrex, and is about to tell him all.

He seemed to consider me, my boots, my trousers, my shirt. - I only question this because, as I understood it, they are sat at a table - one on each side and facing each other - sooooo - how could he see the trousers and boots?

Great chapter, Jay.

Margaret

May I say, the title was supposed to be a "joke" title. I thought it might draw a few readers. You were the only one who spotted it. I even pointed it out to others and they still didn't get it.

Picky, picky, picky ... so Rhuether's using his magic. LOL, I'll have to have him bend from the waist or something. What is it with me and tables. Remember the "Pumpkin Pulp" table incident?

    Thanks for pointing it out.

Things are heating up again in this scene, Jay. Doctrex meets the Almighty Master and in his usual calm demeanor tries to gain info about his status and also Zarbs. Your descriptive details and dialogue are spot on as always. Gonot seems like a very devious character!

I was expecting to end up in San Antonio when I saw you had posted but instead I get to read about Doctrex. I don't understand how you can run two or more novels at once. I can't. Anyway, this is a very good post and I believe every person matters.

Just about everything else I wrote was to fill in the gaps until I could get The Trining back up and running. Losing all those chapters just about did me in. I'm happy you're back enjoying this.

Somehow I have missed the beginning of this. I know now, it was that stupid tree that fell on the shop and it took forever to clear. Now, where was I?

This is very intense, Jay. I will go back and catch up, hon. It looks to be very involved so I must.

Always your biggest fan,
Missy
You are THE MAN!!! :)

Thank you so much, Missy. Good to have you back and reading this. Watch out. You get started reading the past chapters and you may just be awarding some with ATB. I think I have 2 or 3 with 25 reviews, needing just one more for the coveted All Time Best. Seems I remember your talking about a tree that fell on your shop. Anyway, I always consider it an honor to have to read my posts.

I'm jumping in cold again. This is the first I've seen of this story. It is well written as far as I can see. No spag to report to you :) This story is easy to read and get hooked on. I couldn't help thinking it was a Dr. Who episode. My fault because I've been binge watching Dr. Who and I see it everywhere lol! Binge watching will do that to a person. Looking forward to reading more.

My goodness, I certainly was not expecting that. I am sure Doctrex wasn't either. I enjoyed you usual excellent dialogue, detailed and fascinating descriptions. I especially liked your descriptions of the Almighty Master's facial features. Your title of this chapter gave me a good chuckle, was that intended?

Hahahaha! YES! It was intended. Only you and Margaret Snowdon, picked up on it. I tried and tried and couldn't come up with a new chapter name when that hit me. I thought, "Why not!" It may draw in a few new readers. You made my day, Sasha (Yeah, that's easier... Sasha!

So, the almighty master himself has appeared at last, he seems lifelike but must be extremely dangerous, he murdered Pondria and also disposed of Supreme colonel Zarbs,. He's probably the cruellest man ever, it's staring to resemble the old trining episodes, it's starting to reveal where it came from, most enjoyable, Jay, well done, Blessings, Roy.

I am so glad you enjoyed this chapter, Roy. Do you know, in the over 400 pages of the entire series, the only swear word I used was "damn", and at that point was disappointed that I had to. I just took it as a challenge to write something without swear words.
    Bless you, Roy.
reply by royowen on 20-Sep-2015
I'm so glad you don't embellish with swear words or gratuitous sex, and amazingly you still tell a good tale, before "lady Chatterly's lover" nobody, good stories then! Tolkien, CS Lewis etc. Didn't why should we? Well done, Jay.

Time for a few notes from Good, Bad and Ugly, the Antagonist has appeared.
I guess he saw Zarbs's loyalty was compromised. When do we get a look at
Ax girl? Excellent storytelling.
