Although I'm not fond of blank verse, this is a beautiful poem. I guess the subject matter and the writer makes the difference! Well done. Good luck in the contest!

    Thanks for the encouraging review and shining stars, Lois. I've started liking blank verse now, after writing two within a month. Thanks for your warm wishes as well. Surprisingly, it finished third in the contest. Enjoy the weekend.
