As a good story, your entry has characters, settings, conflicts and resolution. I think the world is heading for insanity. At the Fireworks Display on the Fourth of July, those present had an inkling of it. Mr Levine had no business to talk like that nor the crowd had any right to react that way. The colourful rockets went up unnoticed.

Satire written in a few brief words. I couldn't quite see the connection between the man's declaration and the fireworks, but it was a fun piece to read.

Unfortunately this is very possible anymore. Although I'm not sure why being straight would make him racist. Straight white people are rapidly becoming the new minority.
Good job in creating a short yet controversial story. The unfortunate thing is the same reaction could be given to this story.

I found this story funny. I guess this is based on the ruling about homosexual marriage. I am so glad the bill went through and the church couldn't stop it. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

The story meets the 60 word limit of the contest and does indeed tell a whole story. Sad to say that more and more of this mob violence is being seen today, so I think the story touches on an apt topic. I wish that more Americans would stand against actions like that. Good luck in the contest.

It's tough to tell a story in 60 words but I think you did accomplish that. There is a clear message here and I like it. Very creative. And I like how you used the 4th as a back drop.
