If we had not loitered in this life, we would be a 100per cent with Him.
But loitering is part of life.
We need to loiter and feel the need to be back again..
Loiter is life itself. Do not be afraid. This is an unpublished writing of mine.
Those are blessed who remember their way back or seek to go back.
A lovely writing and a lovely message.

This poem speaks of the popular Bible story where God left His flock in order to look for just one lost sheep. This explains the depth of God's love for everyone. He shall search even for just one soul and bring him back. That's how God loves His children.

good iambic tetrameter too, for the form

Dear Debi - your underlying message was well penned. Though your author notes helped me as well... this made me stop and think over the concept of "no man is left behind" but now for sheep. Nicely done and creative.
Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you, Maureen. In the parable, sheep are used as a metaphor for people so looks like you got the meaning of the story both ways. Thank you so much for you encouraging comments and generous review. I always appreciate hearing from you. Debi

This brought back memories of the picture on my mothers wall of Jesus holding a lamb as other sheep grazed around them. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a good read.

Thank you, c_lucas. I had the same sort of image as your mother's picture in my mind as I was writing it. I just couldn't find one like it on fanart and I struggle to download from the web. I appreciate the kind comments about the writing and appreciate your support.
