The picture is nice. Humpty Dumpty is in the picture. Who would've thought he's so greedy that he ended in big debt.

He was counting on a golden egg to get him out of trouble, but ending in using the egg as a coffin for himself.

Ha, ha. Well done, my friend.
I enjoyed your retelling of the old tale with new characters
from Clue. I never trusted Colonel Mustard. A murderous act
with a lead pipe, no less. I use a teaspoon myself.
This sounds like a real shell game.
But the deviled eggs are well named.
Great fun, rhyme and meter.

You did a great job with the end rhymes and smooth
flow, Debi. Your story was told with finesses. I liked
the way you combined the nursery rhyme with the
game of Clue. That added a fun twist. Your new version
was fun to read and think about as how it compared to
the original. It seemed HD was given a new lease on life--
at least he's still sitting on the wall.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
As far as reposting--Last week someone reviewed one of the older poems in my portfolio. I'd hadn't looked at it in sometime. I had a bit of break on Saturday so I looked through some of my old poetry. One of the new certificates on the site is the "Treasure Chests Revive." It lets you promote a work that is at least two years old.
Since it is a holiday weekend, I thought something lighthearted might be in order. This one was posted in 2013, and I haven't read it in ages. I thought, "why not try out the certifcate and see how it works." If you read an reviewed it previously, you cannot do a new review. But a lot of new people have joined in the past ten years, so why not share and see if it still holds up.
I also wrote one about The Three Little Pigs, Columbo, and Mrs. White from Clue. My nieces and nephews don't know who Columbo is so that one probably didn't hold up as well.
