This expresses a true story from the bible, and it does so in a understanding way. Jesus offered her living water. Here, she met the Savior who changed her life and caused her story to live on for centuries. I thought the writing in this story was strong and held to the truth. It is well written and a joy to read.

What an uplifting poem. You just turned my day from blue to sunny. At first, I thought it as just a nice poem until the last few lines struck me between the eyes. Goo luck in the contest.

It takes courage to illustrate the miracle of an explosive encounter when one's perception is changed and one's life is changed to something larger and brighter. It might be a rebirth, intangible and real all in a modest, earthy setting. So we have a good poem full of relevant detail.

The Lord Jesus told her about her life past and present. He told her the man she lived with was not her husband, however you followed the rules quiet well and posted a very nice poem. The photo enhanced the story. Very good poet.

Thank you so much for your comments. I realized that I changed it a bit, but after the contest I am going to see if I can rectify that to be more like the Bible verse as far as her having men in her life.
