I am not a fan of blind contests either--just like I would be reluctant to buy a book without the author's name on it! I like your speaking in your son's voice and his "daisy" expression--it was like my saying "lemonaise" for mayonnaise when I was his age. Kids can wrap us around their fingers and say the "darndest things". Smiles- Joan

I enjoyed this one. I liked the fact that you told it from the point of view of the child and I enjoyed the child's logic LOL. Fun read, Jimi

When they get to the age of this child, they have all kinds of tricks they try to pull to keep from doing what they must do. I enjoyed the read and had to laugh at some of the story as I remember my girls pulling some of these tricks at times. Patricia

Comment from GWHARGIS
Very cute story. I liked the probably just gas comment and his retort of not in the car. The child like view point was done well and I knew it was based on a real child. Most times you can tell when someone is playing at child writing. Yours rang true. Nice job.

An adorable story and I can see the little boy acting out an Academy Award performance just to have to go to playschool anyway. But Mom may be in for more surprises if he makes her "day just daisy." ;) I smiled through the entire story. I love the child's viewpoint and how he understands things like gas. LOL I enjoyed this story very much!

Well done! I was enjoying the read. I loved the many little moments with their joy and love. Children are the ultimate in honesty and what they show us of their feelings and how they perceive life.
I enjoyed this very much.
Great work!

So cute and very child-like. I could just see a little boy saying those exact things. I bet he did make his mother regret taking him to daycare. Well done.
