Wow, even with all the Halloween candy in my belly right now (and there is a lot, yum!), you have made my mouth water.
One spag, queens, in the first sentence should be capatilized, I think. Other than that, very well done!

I don't know what kind of contest this was for, but your message about "Giving a Gift of Sweetness" was so well described in elegant, decadent, pride that only comes with tradition and years of knowledge. And then your soft touch of advertising in the next two verses absolutely make you wanting to go out and purchase some today; not salesmanlike at all. Perfect Marketing! I can't thnk of anything I don't like about this piece.

I had read somewhere it is essential to be a copywriter to be a good novelist. So, you can kill two birds with one shot.
