What an amazing effort you have penned. It is remarkable and riveting. I can relate to many of your words of love and contentment. "Contentment comes to those who knew it would."
I love that line.

Amazing effort with this writing... I love how you write about quiet and the portals that you have to go through and I feel that anyone could identify with some part of this wonderful poem... It has a good flow. I think you write with emotion and give good description all through your poem.
Well done!

Thanks Christa!!! It's not the points that count so much as the enjoyment someone gets from the read.

contemplate escape through the minds eye.
wow this takes reading for sure!
your canvas your painting your color your style description and flow is so well done.
i like the last and 1st sentence fits so nice and takes the reader painter dreamer to the next level of thought and picture to be seen here.
ways I must contend with off and on;
the routine of the day sux sometimes eh!
:-)
wonderful
the length appreciates the time taken to paint a good picture.

I am breathless! You have accomplished a wonder. It is not easy to do. You have the 14 lines, iambic pentameter (lines with 10 syllables). Some sonnets rhyme schemes are abab, cdcd, efef and gg. I am glad you stuck with the abab scheme. I hope I am right for I tried to read it carefully.
This love sonnet says much. Thanks for writing it. B.anderson

Top marks how eloquently announced and to write it in 5hrs. self observation as a canvas which you paint so humble though the vision was demanding on the reader,when you were deep in though so was I well done.

Good day or evening to you Gungalo
I can see peace within your soul and mind when you composed your 15 sonnets. very relaxing to read,
Once I got going I didn't even notice the length.

Quite lengthy but well worth the read. I have never written one of this type but you surely made it look easy. I think the 13th sonnet seemed to fit me the most. I went back and read that one again.

Bravo!
You time and effort were well spent.
Such a lovely, peaceful write ... almost a whisper on the wind.
I especially loved your closing lines:In dreams I share and fly in arms of love,
such music sweet in stillness wafts on high;
as through the universe so far above
in open arms that welcome my soft sigh.
Its promise now to me is understood,
contentment comes to those who knew it would.
FYI: Had a bit of a hard time reading part of it ... for some of it the words ran over your profile. Had to highlight them to read them.

A very long read Gungalo and that's true, but by the time I had read the first sonnet I was hooked. You see I enjoy the classics and to me this reflects the classical write.
An enjoyable read in solitude. Eric
