This is so very sad.
I'm a foster parent. I hope you were well taken care for. I can't imagine giving up my child, but I worry about others doing such things. I guess stress could be the factor, and not being able to cope with the hardships of life.
I am so sorry to hear about this horrific ordeal. May you be happy now. Glad you have written this. Writing is very therapeutic. Lois

Whoa. This is incredibly powerful. You use such strong language to evoke the right emotions from both the reader and the speaker. Your little background information at the end was helpful, because we could see, even without it, that this was raw emotion coming from you. It's beautifully tragic. Wonderful job.

Love or lack of love, certainly can cause a great deal of
devastation in a persons life. When everything comes
together in a relationship, whether it be man and wife or
parents and children, there's no greater feeling. You have written a beautiful poem that describes love at it's worse.
