I'm glad you are able to find light-heartedness is in your computer being in the 'hospital'. My husband jokes that he can barely use my Mac. (We also have a desktop version that he usually uses.) I hope it won't be long before you are back to full capacity! Thank you for sharing!

Carmen should be back home today or tomorrow with a heart transplant and a tummy tuck.

I had an interesting day, due to Texas flooding. The little tropical storm from down Mexico way decided to pay us a visit. Your day beat mine. I didn't lose my computer..

I saw the flood on the news, I think a flood out does my lightning strike. Take care and try to stay dry.

Here we go again! Do you ever have a calm day. But I am learning from your mistakes, I didn't know about the cable thing either.
and writing on a Spanish keyboard without spell check and no way to review....you live on the edge.
When I saw the romance posting, Thought you were involved in a hot Mexican affair and wanted to brag
I think there might have been one or two places you could have used a 'comma', but you know I love commas and use them like pixy dust.

Thanks for making me laugh. I would love to use more commas but to be honest I cannot find the darn thing on this keyboard. Sorry to have dissappointed you. No hot romance with a Mexican. At least not this month.

Talk about trial and ERROR, Sasha, you really DO get the box of chocolates, don't you? Is the owner of that place on first name terms with you yet, and if not, why not? xx

Wow, what a power surge that must have been. A little scary, perhaps? All in all, you did a great job of tendering an interesting story on the kill of Carmen's heart. She will get a heart transplant and you'll be back in business in no time.
I also enjoyed your author's notes.

P.S. We have a Cyber Cafe here in Binghamton, NY where I used to spend afternoons writing.

The best thing about cyber cafes in Mexico is they are really cheap to use. Other than that, they are a pain. I think Carmen might be coming home today. Wish me luck.

LUCK!

I like that you classified this as romance. I mean, the relationship between a woman and her computer is very intimate. You always provice us with bright spot in our day. I really enjoyed this. Well wishes for Carmen!

Hopefully she will be returning home today. I have cleaned and polished the table and even bought her a new lamp. She will be thrilled.

Sasha,
Does it never end for you? Hope Carmen recovers without any side effects and that you can hurry back to the keyboard with other delicious and humerous tales to amuse us.

Poor Carmen... I hope she'll pull through!
My computer didn't get struck by lightning, but I've been wanting to give it a good beating for the past few days. I think I'll need a bypass from all of the stress it's been giving me. Good read and I didn't notice any spags.

I'm sorry to hear that your computer got shocked to death. Didn't this happen to you awhile back too? I enjoyed hearing from you as always.

Yes, the first time was a minor (ha) power surge, this time it was a full-blown lighning srike.
