I enjoyed this story.
You took me inside Matilda's dreams and held me there throughout.
The descriptive prose with a touch of humor made for an enjoyable read.
Old lovers leaving your memory. Absolutely a novel idea to write about.
The character development was excellent.

Apelle... this is a clear, concise read. Transporting the reader back through time. I found myself, with one layer of my mind, reading your words... while with another layer, I was reviewing my own awakening and experiences.
Strange experience. My complements. Pat.

Adina... I would love to, but I can't at the moment. I spend every spare moment down the chocolate mines, gathering chocolate dollars and cents to post my own stuff.

This is terrific writing. You say it's a chapter, but I think it kind of stands well on its own. The dialogue is rich and powerful and the scene is real.
Keep writing.

My principal thought from the start to the finish of the subject mental exercise of your heroine is that love is a confusing emotion grosly complicated by sex, and sex is a confusing driving physical need (at least for men with testosteron)grosly complicated by Love. However both love and sex are principally between the ears. Excellent narrative and dialog.
