A very beautiful story and told in a simple yet touching way. The story flows very well and is engrossing from beginning to end.It doesnt have unnecessary details that take away from the story . A great job

A very touching love story, a true story too. And very fitting as an entry to this contest. Although this is non fiction, I think it will become a better read if you keep the suspense until the end. Knowing that Ron is dead from the very beginning, his fights for life seem not as exciting as it would, if you safe this knowledge for last. Anyway, you write this story well. I'm so sorry for Sarah.

Good paragraph length and what little dialogue was realistic.
Sorry it's based on a true story, always sad to lose someone, even if part of them stays with you.

A beautiful and moving story that kept me engrossed. I was horrified by the son's callousness, and touched by Sarah's devotion. In a way I was as disappointed as Sarah would have been to learn that his responses may not have been made in awareness, but the idea that his subconsciousness and soul kept him connected is a lovely idea.
Ron let go of this mortal existence and flew into the arms of peace. He said goodbye to life on his terms, with a blue moon, and a new year. - lovely closing sentence.

A beautiful story that reads like a tribute to a loving man that understood the value and meaning of life.
It has always struck me as odd that so many good people are taken from us before their time, and we are left with so many jerks still alive.

yes, their time was too short but they have an eternal love now and at least knew what it was like to feel that kind of love. Thank you so much for your review.
