I like this quirky fairy story. Ironic how the pretty princess assumed that she would be the chosen one - isn't that always the way. Glad to read this fairy story turned out different. Personally I'd much rather wander the gardens to have to listen to the swain's proclaim daily.

An excellent flash fiction fairy tale! Your characters are well developed and your flow without reproach. The story line is unique and held my interest from start to finish. I am very partial to fantasy stories, and this one was a delight to read. Excellent job!

fantastic alright. this one is strictly for der kinder, but that's okay, it works! Nice turn if a little predictable.
It's clear, concise, charming and teaches avaluable lesson. Good genre piece.

What a delightful tale. I have only just started reading flash fiction and this is a great beginning. I love the clever way you launch straight into the story, but of course this style of writing leaves no margin for waffle! (just Quaffel) And how you manage to incorporate all the required elements. I really wish you the best in the competition. I'm sure this deserves to do well.
