I like this very well written "expossee in the Internet." I hope this four words rhyme!!! You had me going in here. I am thinking in rhymes! LOL. Great poem on the internet, I remember I wrote a report when it was still called information highway, or something like that.

LOL!! So often, when I'm in the middle of writing, when I stop awhile, I catch myself thinking in "sing-song" rhyme! HA!!!! Then I tell myself that I'm doing WAY too much of this. HA! Thanks so much for your lovely review..so glad you enjoyed it. :-)) Sue

I loved this! I felt the very same way about the internet and computers. Can't beat 'em, join 'em right. How nifty to include fan story in your poem. I'm fairly new as well to FS and continue to learn. Thats part of the fun.

You know it... the internet has done so much for our lives, made them better, and sometimes worse... if we spend too much time or money on-line.
Love the way you describe the way it has grown.
Very well done.

I remember this :). My first computer, my 10 year old had to show me how to set it up...I felt so stupid, and he showed me how to navigate the net too. I didn't even know how to type, felt like I came out of the dark ages. Love the poem, great rhymes, good meter and flow, and I can so relate to it.

I think the reason I was an early adopter (as soon as it came out!), was because I have always been an extremely fast typist. So, the keyboard was an everyday object to me. Isn't it awesome now that the stigma on a man who types is completely gone?!! When I was in high school taking typing lessons, that stuff was for girls! HA!! Thanks so much for your review. So glad you enjoyed it! :-)) Sue

Very well-written poem. I didn't notice a single error. Computers certainly are great tools as well as a fine form of enternainment and education. Thanks for sharing this.

It truly is amazing, Sixteezkid. I remember working on an old WANG for the U.S. Military in Heidelberg in the early eighties. Whoever would have thought we'd come this far? It's a whole new world but I'm sure there's a lot more innovation to come. I'm waiting for the 'beam me up, Scottie' button next, when we can be instantly transported to foreign worlds or dimensions. This is a very clever poem and I enjoyed it a lot. Penelope

LOL!!! I know!! Like I said in the poem (only in it's infancy) yet, it's STILL in it's infancy. I sometimes say that I want to live a lot longer just to see what happens! "Beam me up, Scottie"! LOL!!! Never say never! Thanks for your review. I really appreciate it. Regards, Sue

Learning how to write. I think you already know how to write. You write very good. I enjoy reading work by you whenever i come upon it. The internet is very addicting. I do not know what I would do without it and yet we managed somehow for years. Thanks for the read, Pamela

Toss out the microwave, telephones, you name it. DON'T touch my 'puter! HA!!! Hey, we don't even need telephones anymore with Skype. Thank you very much for your review and very kind compliment! I enjoy writing now more than anything. With warmest regards, Sue

This is a nice effort. You do a good job of describing the progressive and deepening involvement with the on-line world and te possibilities that it offers.

Paige won, when I got here in November, before I knew it, I found myself unable to get of FS. I thought myself a nut. Then, I discovered everyone else was addicted, also! HA!! I had NO idea how much and how fast I would learn either. Isn't it amazing what one can do when you really, really want it. Still much to learn, so I'll be hanging around here for a long time! Thank you for your review. Always appreciated. Sue
