Although I do not believe that you can or should legislate the morality of choice of life or abortion. I am solidly pro life for life. Jesus Christ is the only human whose life course was predetermined. Everyone else has the right to choose. We the ones who are already here do not have the right to take that away from those as yet unborn. Can you even imagine what would have happened to us if Mary, an unmarried teen aged virgin had been forced to abort Jesus?

You missed my point unfortunately. God created us with free will, otherwise he would not have allowed Adam and Eve to sin. I am in favor of people being able to freely choose to sin against God because their punishment is the result of their poor choice. The only worship that God treasures is worship given without force. If he has to force you to worship him, your worship is of no value. Would you have loved your husband and children if you were being forced to love them? Of course not, Your love for them is precious because you freely chose to love them. The same is true with our creator. We believe the same, even if the difference is the translation of a few terms in the Bible. God accepts our love and devotion only if we freely choose to render it. I could preach this sermon, but I do not feel it is needed as we are not in disagreement.

And like you said, we are on the same page. You have listened to everyone else for how long now and I am thankful you told me about your beliefs. I am glad we are ok too.

The greatest thing about truly believing, you want everyone to believe as you do, but you are wise enough to know and accept that you cannot force anyone to believe if they choose not to.
