Ok, I'm nosey. What happened with the horses? Did they see the snake and run away. What happened to Ezra? Did the snake or the horses hurt him. Life in the country isn't all peaceful and no hassle. You are having some interesting adventures on your way to the nonexistent meeting.

The horses knocked him over. He's shaken up but okay. Country life is hard work. Hoping we can still make it to the nonexistent meeting. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

A very engaging and humorous chapter. You two are certainly opposites, not only in looks and personalities, but with your knowledge of flowers vs bugs, and your reactions to the snake! Ironic that your mobile phone has been able to send photos where before you couldn't get messages out! Lol. A wonderful fun story.

The message went through, but I don't know if the pictures did. Lol. Yes, we are definitely opposite ends of the spectrum. I really appreciate this nice review. Gretchen

I love the way you and Rachelle give each other such funny traits, and your description of yourself passing Rachelle, running from the horses is a stitch.
I believe if/when you two meet, it'll be old home week.
I love this story. I kinda hope you're stuck there for a while. :)

We're going to do about twenty chapters total. Who knows where it's headed. I know I don't. Thank you for this. Gretchen

You made me smile with your adventure with the Hamish community and both of you seem to be just about coping here, another fine chapter in this interrupted journey to the Fanstory convention, I think I would have fainted if I saw that snake! Love Dolly x x x

I love to see snakes. I'm not an idiot who tries to interact with then though. Thank you for this. Gretchen

"No Amish were hurt in this episode" hahaha

What's wrong with Ezra? Was it the horse or the snake that attacked him? Probably both.

I was thinking about myself and how I couldn't fight fast. (*/*)

Another awesome chapter,
Well done!

You want a picture of it! That would have been the last thing I wanted - dead or alive - rattlesnakes are nasty!

Very entertaining, Gretchen, and a great compliment to Rachelle's piece. I'll ask you the same thing that I asked her - what happened to the horses?

See you next week.

I'm guessing the horses just ran off a ways. Thank you so much for this. Gretchen

Your story is very interesting to read. Are you going to continue to write more? Amish country has always interest me. They have beautiful customs and culture. You're a very excellent writer.

Your Author's Notes are every bit as entertaining as your actual chapter!! I find I look as forward to THEM each week as I do to the story!

You did GREAT with this, especially the view from Helene's side. Those close calls are extremely sobering. Very wise call to spotlight that.

It only FEELS like it's been two or three days, though, that they've been there. In reality - well, you know what I mean - it hasn't even been a full twenty-four hours yet. Who'd imagine Amish country would be such a happenin' place, right?

I laughed out loud twice:
1.) So, I go into auto pilot and start running. Next thing I know, I'm Usain Bolt and I'm going for the gold. I pass Rachelle and keep going.
ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS, this one!!! Oy!!! this is trademark GW Hargis and why EVERYONE loves your writing. and

2.) This is the kind of stuff we live for. Pictures of snakes and dogs. Odd combination but works for us.
DITTO FOR THIS. YOU ACCEPT THAT YOU'RE NOT THE RUN-OF-THE-MILL HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM AND MAKE NO APOLOGIES ABOUT IT. SO FREAKIN' FUNNY, GRETCHEN, TRULY.

This is an EXCEPTIONAL write. I love doing this book together.

Thank you. This story has become the highlight of my week for sure. Can't wait for berry picking. Have a few humorous moments brewing. Like me putting on shorts and a v neck t-shirt. Then admitting to you, still in Amish garb, how I feel like a slut strutting my stuff. Good times. Gretchen

I hope I won't have to slut-shame you, you little trollop!!

You two sound like quite the pair to go on an outing together. You're just about opposites. She knows her flowers and you know your bugs. She Is losing her cookies after seeing the snake remains and you've gained an appetite. Your story is very entertaining.

This is another great chapter, Gretchen. I am thoroughly enjoying this story from both perspectives. Brilliant Idea. I read Rachelle's first, she got my last sixer.
Picked up on this issue
Ezra is lying there, eyes rolling back, moaning(,) and slightly rocking (on his) side.
I'm still learning, so forgive me if this is not helpful.
God bless,
Steve
