Brian really lucked out in his roommate situation. Julia did not but the neighbors sound like fun. They both seem to enjoy school and aren't yearning for home. They also know how to be creative on the phone.

I am feeling dismal today because dump the trump is running for president and he has filed and been granted bankruptcy six times. I would hesitate to call someone who is a billionaire lame at business. I think when you make as many deals as him, some of them are going to fail. But that's the key to entrepreneurship. You have to take risks, and some pay off big, and some don't. But when you start with a million and turn it into several billion, on balance he's been a good businessman. I'm not so sure about his personality, but his business acumen: pretty good.

No offense taken. It's always a work in progress. Some examples of what you felt to be stilted would be helpful to me.
I researched this first and Skype sex is not illegal as long as it isn't for money, it's between consenting adults, and doesn't involve minors.

I did check to see if this would get them in trouble (not by personally checking it out, but by research!) and I found out that if it's by consenting adults (18 or over), and not for paid sex, it isn't illegal. Perhaps not the wisest thing to do, as hackers might get ahold of it, but not illegal. So glad you're feeling young again. This has been rather refreshing for me to write too. I may not have been quite as naughty as these two, but I do have some fond memories of a few exciting trysts in my youth.

Next best thing, I guess, though I've never tried it!
I think college is a rude awakening for many who are not used to studying very much. But Brian is a bright fellow, and he adjusts. Besides, his girlfriend isn't there, and he's really not interested in pursuing other girls.

Yes, absolutely. He needs to understand those endorphins so he will know what to do about them in his eventual cure for pain. :)
Have you ever read any of the books in the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series by Alexander McCall Smith? That takes place in Botswana and uses authentic language for the characters. Those books are very funny and endearing.

May as well read the first in the series. It's called The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. They are slow moving but very funny and a real delight. Lots of humorous digressions. Wonderful characters.
