BOO is reading..."How many girls were rescued?"

"Fifteen total. Twelve were under sixteen. We arrested eight of Chen's men." Oh, a bust! "I know Mateo went to an escort service and Jose and Noah left sometime during the night. Okay, an escort service. As her eyes met his, Galvin said, "Look away. I'm not falling victim of your bewitching eyes."

"What?"

"You use your eyes to trap men under your spell." Like this, "You can't leave. I'm in protective custody. You need to make sure I'm safely inside. It's a rule, remember? You don't even follow policy unless it suits you. Go figure." Is he breaking protocol? Nicely woven chapter, Barbara. Didn't notice any flaws, my mind focused on the plot and narrative.

BOO!

Well, Calvin is a first class jerk. He's immature and I don't like him. I'm glad Sami put him in his place. This was a good chapter and I'm hoping Sarah is pregnant. That would be a happy circumstance to happen. This was another great installment. Gretchen

My traveling weeks have put me a little behind even thought I tried to keep up, but I'm sure I'll be back up to snuff in a week or two. Thanks for sharing.

OOOOH Good on Sami!! She's a spirited vixen when she wants to be. Now what will that idiot boss do now? He's not a happy bunny, is he? LOL. I really enjoyed this chapter. Well done, my friend.:)) Sandra xxx

I have just one little question, the sentence beloew. You say he 'stomped ti the car and pulled the handle..... Then after the alarm sounded, he again hurried to his car. Wasn't he already there? I think you need to remove the last sentence? .......
He stomped to the door and pulled the handle. The alarm sounded. "They'll know you're there." (He hurried to his car.)

I really like how you keep the tension ticking up a notch, Barbara, especially when they are waiting to hear news about the missing girls. I also liked the conversation between Sami and Sarah when Sarah was discussing that she might be pregnant. Another excellent read, I really enjoyed it.

Love the way Sami responds to Baldwin. She gives him what for, especially when he makes comments about her eyes and she threatens to report him to his supervisor. Interesting story about Sarah, who thinks she may be pregnant. It provides some interesting insight into the lives of the agents. Some of the girls were rescued, but Myra still hasn't been found, apparently. Baldwin tries to blame Noah and his crew, but he doesn't even have a clear picture of what really happened. Great chapter, as usual. judi

I like Sami's spunk. Good for her, speaking her mind. She has hit the nail on the head with regard to Galvin. This is an excellent chapter, very engrossing. Well done!

Ohhh, I like how Sami handles Galvin the supervisor. She's a handful isn't she!

Great read. I think that I am all caught up now. Ha! Great read, my friend.

I like how Sami throws the rules back at Galvin. This is still very good reading. Ulla has had another crisis so no new chapter from her again! One spag...here's that addition again... "We already know what you were attracted to[o]."

Sami can certainly look after herself. I like her spirit, as do the others in the house it seems. Still no nearer finding Myra though and we await a breakthrough. Excellent dialogue continuing to build character and advance plot. I'm confused about this: You got resume builders on that thing.
Well done, Barbara, on another excellent chapter! Take care Debbie
