Very nicely written, and the yin and yang artwork help in understanding the concept of polarity.
Without night there would be no day, and vice versa. Life needs the arcing that happens between a minimum of two variables.

So true. Experiencing highs and lows in life is just part of it. It's good when good comes along to balance out the bad. It would not be natural for a person to experience only the good. Even when people are going through a rough patch, there are surely going to good things to cheer them up. I think you'd be suicidal if you had only bad things going on in your life. Really thought-provoking. Best of luck in the contest. judi
