Moral of the story do not make Grandma mad :-) this was cute. I like the graphic that goes along with it. You did a good job as these short poems can be hard to write and sometimes frustrating.

As a 30 plus year owner of chickens, I can totally relate to the humor in this! We've had decent roosters and we've had really nasty ones. The nasty ones don't get to stick around. A great entry for the 575 contest.

Lol, I had them since I was 15 until Harvey hit us and the water went over the roof of my house and drown them all. Where I live now they're not allowed.

It is a pity Granny was not spared here but we humans just love a chicken dinner. Thankfully they have been spared by my diet as I don't eat meat, ha ha ha, a fun post, love Dolly x x x

I wrote a poem with a similar idea once about a rooster who kept waking up his master and his master had had enough and decided to make chicken stew
This is humorous and definitely qualifies for that contest
At least the mistake turned into a delicious meal. Haha
This is more of a senryu than a haiku. It is dealing with humans. Haiku does with nature
