Had to six it. Six six six six six six and six it cause it is quite the elusive journey for so few words.

I read this and felt like I was engaged for an hour....but it had only been seconds.

You, Sir, are an illusionist. Well done.

As always your acute awareness parallels my thinking more times than M and M are brown, and less often than Lauffy Taffy are banana. Thank you.

Well, I'm sure the writing is great as always, and it's about a man who is anything but average, and certainly different than most. But with all the big words, I'm going to have to go back and spend a week figuring out what you've actually said. Thanks for sharing.

Do I get an assist for broadening your vocab? If so, I have contributed to higher education! Thank you.

You've just brought up the biggest problem in the world today. "People, educated well past their intelligence." I'm just a dumb old country boy who doesn't use the word manure, since I know a simpler word. Where I come from it's just plain ol' cow . . . well, you know.

This is spectacular, although to me it reads like a poem rather than a story.
I love both your words and the collage.
Alliteration is one of my favourite literary devices and there's plenty of that here.
BTW, did you know that ilusion with a stress mark on the o means something you look forward to in Spanish? Me hace mucha ilusion means I'm looking forward to it.
Thanks for sharing.

Maybe the form in how it is typed gives a poetic form, and besides I often write my storyies with many rhymes. Alliteration I learned from FStorians. The illiterate person I am is original. Thanks for the read and comment.

Well, as Led Zeppelin once sang... I'm Dazed and Confused. As is MY CASE with many of your posts... said respectfully.

Said wonderfully - one delusive, illusive, visionary man.

Your point came across perfectly.

Enjoy the day.
Cheers,
John

... and yet you return to the scene regularly of which I am appreciative. It must be my uniqueness! Thanks, John.

Know what? I don't know who the committee is or what they deem a "story" -- but I think this is exceptionally creative and I admire a man who is 100% at peace with who he is!

On top of that, this is a kick to read out loud and truly, I think we're all a swirl of illusion, delusion and sparks of visionary.

Nobody does "you" better than "you"

-- That deserves my six stars!

Oh my, you made my da.. wee.. month. A six star review. I appreciate your enjoyment in reading it, but I suggest it's probably a little too much if reading it to toddlers. Thanks again, Tom.

How can I repay your kindness in staying with me through the inanity of what I do. You may want to know I use to write more sensibly, but cannot remember when.

You see you as part of a triplicate unlike anyone else in the world? I agree I am peculiar, but you are going for something I can't understand. I must admit I usually like your writing better than this one. You and your dog look a bit alike. TeeHee.

    Sorry. :-(
I fought whether to release this or not, since what would I enter it into and when this contest came along it seemed a perfect fit, and as I leave the pictures chosen were to document how confusing I can be to human or beast, adult or kids. Always yours. Tom

At least you sound like a multi faceted human being. I describe myself as someone who has imaginary friends in a county I imagined. Mind you, everyone loves me and I am very popular. Lol. This was a clever piece, but I've come to expect no less from you. Gretchen

You describe yourself as someone with imaginary friends in a county... named Imagination. I am familiar with the place. :-)

Perhaps you are a mix of all three , perhaps you are unique and unafraid to be and express yourself. I see a lot of tongue-in-cheek humour. Best wishes for your entry.

Yes, a miraculous oddity I am, and then a thought came to me if variety isn't the spice of life. That led my mind to ask "what spice am I Tom, and remember you cannot answer without consulting me first.
    Aren't a wonder?
    Thanks for following along.

Tom, This is a very interesting poem you have penned. I enjoyed looking at the collage you shared with us. That picture of that cute little cat was neat. Thank you for sharing! Blessings, Teri

Yep, the cat is a winner and it cements the idea of how quirky and delirious I can be because of a never-ending tireless that simply won't rest even in my sleep. Glad you enjoy it, and thanks for the review.
