Tell me where you are and I will join you. Ah, the warmth and peace with only the birds for company. Spring has sprung, the grass is riss, I wonder where the flowers is? A happy poem. K xx

Your writings/poems so intrigue me, I find myself matching each stanza with the one before and then after, from this one I got peace and tranquility, and I do agree, no phones or computers, what a blessing****kahpot

Smiling. Yes, in all seriousness, I was in ecstasy.
It is sooo seldom that I can feel Mother Earth, and just listen and float. Thank you.
I tried to convey my feelings.

It kind of sounds like heaven. Peace and quiet would do all of us good. I like this poem and the way you structured it. The entire poem had a calm feeling about it...thanks for sharing.

Waoh! A well presented poem of peace of mind and tranquility in the presence of the beauties of nature. In these days where the use of man made tools and toys seems to be the prevailing tradition, returning to nature tends to usher in the needed calmness of mind. Good job, dear Victor.

I think your poem in structure and image, rhythm and cadence captures the look and feel, the experience of summer. There's a laziness in the air, a sublime appreciation for the calm and the softness, the relaxed vibe, the lack of struggle to the season. We can put our heads back, lie down in the hammock, and feel that summer breeze. Listen to the music of the birds. watch the kids playing around on the lawn. Take a deep breath and savor the moment. estory

Hey Doug. I like the notes better than the poem. No phone no AI, no television, just peace and quiet tuning in with Mother Nature.
Solitude with nature feels good any way you slice it. I got lost halfway through the poem so I reacted to the notes at the end of the post.

-Very nice image and presentation, Doug.
-Is it your own or a random place?
-Your notes are appreciated, too.
-You wrote a very good poem
with effective imagery, beginning
with the opening lines that create
a peaceful mood.
-It allows your mind to wander and think
about your daughter's trampoline.
-I like the verse where you talk about
the neighbor's yard that
"gives reason
for existence."
-A good comparison of the
gusts to a heart beating.
-Good concluding lines, as well.
-Thanks for sharing it.
