I don't lnow if it has to do with aging or because handicaps make my mobility limited but it's the simple often previously things that I can still enjoy are making me happy every day. Thank you for sharing your uplifting poetic message.

I like your use of indwell it is obvious what you mean but it is stretching the definition of the word to a snapping point. That is the job of poetry to use language in new innovative ways. A simple life well told. Good luck

Your poem beautifully captures the simple joys and the beauty found in everyday moments. The imagery you use, from the friendly face not seen in a long time to the bells from the nearby church filling the air was perfect! I felt a sense of warmth and maybe even a little nostalgia. Your descriptions of nature, such as the meadowlark's nest-building and the twisting tree limbs dancing in the light of thunder and lightning - just beautiful. Great job - this was a wonderfully crafted poem!

Thunder and lightning making you feel happy is novel. When you aren't with the one you love do you feel sad or happy that you have someone to return to? Knowing someone loves you but are afraid to say it. Would that make you happy at sad? Your innocent little poem brought out some repressed feelings. Well done.
