Thank you, thank you, my friend. I really needed this poem. The enemy is ramping up his attacks on everyone and everything, especially those who are godly or even conservative. A refreshing write and encouraging as we go deeper into the end times. I feel the Lord's coming is soon. Sending you my best today as always,
Sal :))

Thanks Sal. I'm blessed by the gift you so badly needed. This will be my last poem for awhile. I'm going to focus on Chapter 3 of Stone River next.

I liked your poem. Roy is always a great inspiration to me as well.
We do live in dark times but....we have read the end of His book and so we know how the story ends.
Well done.
Blessings

This is rather scary, but then our world is scary. Too many things pull people away from goodness and leaves them mired in darkness, the wolf pack awaits all those who stray from the lambs that Jesus protects. Lovely poem that would fit into many of the religious publications very nicely.

Thank you so much, Carol. Your review means a lot to me. And, I appreciate the suggestion it would be worthy of publication. Do you have any particular publication in mind?

I think you might find Writer's Digest on line or in a library as it may still be an expensive book. They have dozens of listings for religious magazines and online mags. You might just try a search for "writing--religious markets". Read what they buy carefully, but poetry always seemed to be needed when I didn't know how to write poetry and still don't know much about it. Best of luck in your search.

It says you're an accomplished poet. Well, I'm not going to argue with that! I loved this piece. Looking at the accompanying photo, I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. You have a gift. Thank you for writing this and sharing it. No room for improvement on this one.
My best,
Jeano

Well, bad times and bad influences has been throughout mankind, and I suppose that will unfortunately never change. Right now we are living in some dark moments. I liked your poem. Ulla:)))

Yes, they will fall and take as many as they can with them. I've noticed the hatred and bigotry increase recently. What a wonderfully written poem. Best of luck with your writing!
Have a great day, and God bless.

This was a beautiful poem. Your words flowed in such a seamlessly way, it was satisfying to read each word and hear them in my mind's voice. You describe the depths of darkness and the pinnacle of lightness so well. Thanks for sharing this.

Very nice poem. Great sentiment and message.
I especially enjoy the first stanza, I can both see, and hear it. And the last stanza sums it up. Good work.
And best wishes.

A spell-binding poem that holds one's interest from the beginning to the end. The descriptions are acute and the words are strong, as is the passion exposed. Good job. ann
