Sometimes, poems write themselves, and sometimes, they are elusive when coming into existence--darn it. In either case, you have given a good lineup of how their origins can come about and the topics they might encompass. A centered text placement might improve the visual impact, but you used a nice-sized font.
Best wishes.

Thanks a lot. Jen.

I would agree. Poetry for the most part is a summation of our thoughts and feelings which is why, I have found that offering critique is so difficult, because often it is impossible to say anything nice enough for someone to not take offense. Even for myself, it never feels great, but it's the only way to improve. I refuse to not be honest though. I'm willing to have someone mad at me, to offer constructive feedback. Of course what they do with it is their responsibility after that.

This is beautiful! You have used effective imagery and expressive words to explain poems. Writers here, like myself, will relate to, and value, this. Thank you for sharing this!
Best wishes,
Alex

Loving this no rules poetry contest entry, my friend. A lovely offering in alternate rhyming verse.
Sending you my best today as always, and best wishes for the upcoming contest.

Love this poem! Poetry does have the tendency to find its way to paper before we know the pen leaked any ink. I also like the flower poem in the picture.
