Thank God for sweet Sunny and for you. Your story shows to me exactly my goal as a daughter of God to be used as He guides me to show His love to others.

Exactly. Thank you so much for your kind and insightful review. We need His guidance to comfort those who normally would not necessarily show their emotions. We just need to be available and ready.

You sound like a very kind and caring person like me lol. Must be something in our shared name! I enjoyed reading your biographical story about the work you and your therapy dog are doing to help others. Keep up your good work.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful story of grace and love. We could learn much from our little furry friends, which God purposefully brings into our lives. You know, it's not the big things God cares about and watches, but the small everyday happenings of life. That's where true love is displayed. Christ didn't come to the famous and the learned but to simple fishermen. They were rock on which he built His church. Its simple small things in life where His love shines the brightest.

Wow, thank you so much. Also for the six stars which I greatly appreciate. I enjoyed your insightful review. We know in our heads that he can use us all, we just need to be ready and willing but it?s a joy when we see it in the little things of life that He can and does indeed use us to bring a little comfort to someone in a moment of distress and vulnerability.

Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. When I was younger, I would often ignore those prompting from God. It didn't take me long to realize how wrong I was to ignore them. God prompted me into action, and I should have followed through. I've never ignored since I learned that lesson. Your entry is additional proof of this.

Thank you very much. Yes it?s wonderful how he uses us in little ways and as time goes on we learn to be better attuned to His voice.

It's important to listen to that voice in your heart. I have frequent chats with Him throughout the day and the guidance I may need always comes to me. it was a wonderful thing for you to be there for her. That was exactly what she needed. I'm so sorry about her little dog.

Thank you very much Yvonne. Yes, me too. It?s so lovely to know He cares about all the little events in our lives and uses us to share His love with others when we listen to His voice.

I never realized dogs were needed for the staff, but it makes perfect sense.
I believe that sometimes we make a difference without ever knowing it. I'm sure you make such a difference every time you interact with those in need.
You and Sunny do good work, Wendy. Thank you for sharing this story with us.

Thanks for picking up my slip. Appreciated, along with your very nice review. Yes, the staff are also very appreciative of our visits. It is a comfort and encouragement to them too, but they also see that their patients are smiling, engaged and happy even during treatment which lasts for hours. So that is nice for the staff to see too. So the whole atmosphere is brightened, and then after we go, the patients have something special to talk about with each other, and then with their families when they go home. Staff too. And that is so nice.

I should have saved a six for this. This nearly took my breath away. I have often been called distant, unemotional and sometimes cold. I don't wear my feelings on my sleeve. But sometimes I'm called by God to just stand by someone, quietly and patiently. God certainly put you where you needed to be. Sometimes His presence is experienced through your presence. Very emotional and comforting. Gretchen

Thank you for such a lovely review. I am generally not very emotional in front of others and not a "huggy" sort of person. I hope she experienced His comfort through my wordless support and hug.

A beautiful story, as ever, with a strong message of having purpose and showing kindness in our everyday life. Your stories always make me feel quite emotional, Wendy, and I could imagine that strong arm of yours giving Nell the support and love she needed in that moment. I have a condition that affects my balance and mobility and nothing is more reassuring than being offered that welcome support. It's always very memorable. Thanks for sharing another excellent write. Thank you Debbie for a most lovely review. I am glad you enjoyed this little story. I am generally not a very "huggy" person, but she needed that comfort of touch and support. Thanks again.

What sweet thoughts you share today. They are appreciated. As for myself, I usually control my grief with mortals but when my BF - Buddy - passed I was a mental wreck. Still, he comforted me for a omonth thereafter, as I heard his paws on our hardwood floors and his breath upon my face as dawn arrived suggesting it was time for his constitutional walk.

Thank you Tom. Yes, I don?t share my inner self with others or show emotion publicly and I am not a ?huggy? person normally so hugging her was outside my normal comfort zone. I think grief about the loss of a pet is not well understood and there is no help offered as there would be for loss of a person. Sorry to remind you of Buddy. That sense of loss is always there.

He was a good dog and I wonder how he would act if I was the one who left him

I loved your story and learning how you've prayed to be used and to have you dog used by God in step of you journey. I think you hear God's voice and all of us do when when we pray and are in tune to God voice. Your kindness and caring is showing Chirst's love in exactly the way it is meant to be. When Christ was on earth, he showed love and kindness to all who came to Him, but he didn't preach them all sermons or tell them to change their ways.

Yes, that is a good thought. He simply uses our little gifts in whatever our corner of the world is, to show His love. Not all are called to be evangelists etc or have more public gifts. Thank you very much for your insightful and encouraging review.
