This was a real good chapter and leading us into new areas with Miranda. I hope the therapist can help her in whatever way. I love all your twists and turns.

Thank you so much. I never know which way Miranda is going to go. Glad you liked it. Gretchen

I love the way she has accepted the help from Mitch and the Therapist. Love your adorable description of Carrie Tate down to the dimples. I agree with Miranda, "You can't hate someone with dimples." LOL So true. Can't help but wonder, who's going to pick who's brain? Marinda is looking for answers as well. She and Carrie will make a great team. Well done! Nancy:)

Thanks , Nancy. I'm honestly not sure if Carrie is going to be good for her or not. Something makes me suspicious of Dr. Tate. Is she after information or really trying to help Miranda. Don't know. But I'll find out about the same time you do. Lol. Gretchen

Beautifully written as always. Well done. Loving the characters and the way they relate. You really get us under the skin of Miranda so successfully. I guess she must me from somewhere very close to you?

I believe she is the part of me that got me through a difficult period of time. Thank you so much. Gretchen

I love the way you tell stories. They flow so naturally, it is like being a fly on the wall and listening in. It seem the doctor is charming her way into Miranda's life by coming across on her terms. I look forward to more.

I think consultation is a good thing, we often cannot see the countryside for the trees that are cluttering up the landscape, others can help separate the wood from the trees, we can't run away from ourselves, but people try, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Ain't that the truth. I used to tell my kids to figure one thing out before they made a major decision. Are you running toward something or running away from something. Understanding that can change a decision. Gretchen

That?s right.

As ever, a faultlessly expressed chapter, continually bringing your characters to life with small snippets of detail, meaning so much. There is always a sense of realism, not needing to push the facts too far because they will naturally evolve with excellent dialogue being your key. One small edit: "revealing a(n) upturned nose." A great read, Gretchen! Debbie

I thought for a minute that Miranda was going to be too stubborn for her own good. I like th therapists's openness and the freshness of her approach. Great chapter.

Love the last line, also the dimpled comment, you always bring personalities alive in your stories and giving us a chance to get to know the characters and either like or dislike them. Another fine chapter skilfully presented Gretchen, a pleasure to read, love Dolly x

Thank you, Dolly. Though she may like the therapist, Mitch crossed a line with this. There will be hell to pay ... as they say. Lol. Gretchen

Hahaha. Good ole Miranda. She got his goat. I'm glad it turned out she like the therapist more than she expected and is willing to talk to her. We'll see how their meeting goes at Haynes Pond.

Miranda is quite a character, and she is way more possessive of Mitch than she wants to admit. I am interested in the story of what happened with the woman she thinks may have gotten rid of her former lover? Is that on Fanstory and what is the name of it? Or will most of the details be discussed with Dr. Tate?

I published the first Miranda book. Miranda Chronicles. But you can find it on my profile. It is the lead up to this. I'll cover some things but not all. Has more of what makes her who she is. Thanks. Gretchen
