This is another excellent chapter. You have moved the story along nicely. I do not see any need for improvement. I look forward to the next chapter. Have a blessed day.

Well done. Certain htreads are being woven together, and she did well to get onto Garth - he will be helpful. Were the louts involved in her accident also trying to get rid of her? Looking forward to reading more.

Love the new pic...(or at least new to me). Very nice!

Fixed the skipped word and thank you!

The Towncar was Bruiser trying to catch up with Lance and Bennie with no care for anyone else on the road. It was just a little tidbit that Chrissy can remember to give Garth. Got to track those guys down or it might be too late.

It sounded like Chrissy had an accident herself. That's how her dog found the dead body. I hope she didn't have to repair her own car but she got a story to investigate and write about.

Well done.

It was an almost accident..Bruiser's careless driving ran her off the road, but she's okay. She was going to walk Brandi when the pup discovered the wreck and the bodies. And I guarantee she will be hot on the trail of the story!

Yay! It's Garth! And now Emmy and Hank will get to meet and work with Garth. But I wonder who this Crissy is. Garth is attracted to reporter ladies. I wonder if something will happen between the two. It's no coincidence that she would get a call through to Garth.

LOL... I can't believe what an impression Garth has made on the readers. The cowboy wins every time! I'm not positive how Chrissy will playout but I needed a way to connect Garth to the scene, but flirtations are so much fun (and it's the season for good spirits and cheer). Thanks, Helen, Hope you are doing okay.....

This work has reached the exceptional level

This is very well-written with lots of information to make the reader care for Crissy. The discovery of the car is emotion-packed with memories of the two petty criminals and their hideous death. One misspelling: The car jerked and (shuddered.)

Nice catch, Carol. Appreciate the help whenever I can get it. I hope Chrissy made the transition into the story smooth. It was the only way I knew to connect the FBI to the crime. I so so appreciate your support and the shiny stars.

Great chapter! The part about Chrissy is a breather from all the intensity of the previous chapters. Now that Garth is awake, I hope the murder of Paddy and Mason will be solved. Many twists in this interesting plot. Blessings.

Reading about Crissy, was like a welcomed intermission from the intensity of the previous chapter. I loved the way you introduced Crissy and her co-pilot. Your description of Crissy's actions gives the reader the feeling that they know her. Now that Garth Woodman is involved, I'm sure the next chapter will be action packed. See you then.

Thanks so much, Lorraine. I hope the insertion of Crissy went smoothly so I could introduce our FBI agent into the crime. So many have been asking for his return.. they love the cowboy. LOL Thanks again!!!

We have a change of scene and the ladies and a Brandi come into focus and they discover the bullet riddled car with bodies, and.Crissy gets hold of Garth, befuddled by sleep on the phone, and tells him of her discovery, he swings into action. Well done Carol, good scribing, blessings Roy

I have to please the "soft side" of some of the readers who have asked for our Cowboy to reappear so I hope this went well in the transition.
Thanks for the review and support.

A great chapter, Carol! I'm so happy I'm back in the swing of this saga. A lot is happening, and I'm super intrigued. The bullet-riddled car and the blood. I can't wait to find out where this is going. I loved it! Best, JohnC

And this is exactly why I'm here waiting impatiently for you to post every chapter! This is perfectly written, and I took a shine to those two knuckleheads, Mason and Paddy. It's making me very happy that Garth will now be on the case! Seriously...anybody driving at dawn, listening to Blake, with a Golden Retriever at her side instantly becomes my favorite
ace reporter! Come on Garth! Up! Let's get a move on!

(You're amazing)

I am out of six stars...I know, on Tuesday. "Virtuals" only-- but I mean them!
