This is a neatly constructed, perfectly triangular nonet on the subject of an Italian dish that has certainly taken Britain by storm and now New Zealand as well it seems.

Haha. Only children can be so excited about pizzas nowadays. I can two small slices of pizza per week nowadays and sourdough crust, please.
Very few people can have bread here in the US.
I like the optional rhyming.
Well done and good luck.

Lol. How appropriate that the nonet's wedge-shaped form inspired a big piece of cheesy pizza! Great job with the shape as well as the internal and end rhymes. Best wishes in the contest!

Lisa,
Your nonet poem made me hungry.
your syllable count is good, you've chosen a delectable photo,
And your words capture the essence of pizza.
Nice work, Lisa.
Stay well.
Happy Spring!

A cute and delightful poem. Often kids (and adults) find their pizza slipping away to the floor! I have had a few slippery pieces myself.
Good luck in the contest.

Memories of our younger self are a treasure we hold dear, Jenny. :) That pizza looks yummy, but, Where's the beef? I don't eat sausage, I love extra cheese and all the veggies. :) This is a good entry for the Nonet Poetry Contest. Thank you for sharing.

Cute poem. It describes the pizza well and the way it's printed to be the shape of a slice is nice also. Overall good job on this entry. Keep up the good work.

I like the way your poem looks like a slice of pizza. You used good descriptions in this poem. It makes me want pizza, and I just had pizza last night! Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.
