Hi Yvonne, your poem is so sweet and filled with good imagery. I can see it! I especially liked:
In cadence pure,
they keep the beat
with steps so sure
on tiny feet.
(I'm visualizing them as miniture step dancers - lol.)
Perfect photo choice. A pleasure to read. This poem made me smile.
It's good to see you in print again. Keep the blue waters flowing.

The picture was beautiful, damommy. You indeed captured the moonlight magik with your words. Those words described the fairies dancing and night birds calling. Indeed a magikal time in the moonlight. Very well done and greatly enjoyed.

I enjoyed reading your poem and especially like the image of the fairies dancing on the grass, it gives your words a light flow and feel. There is a sense of whimsy and fantasy in your poem that makes it one to read again and again.

I think I can hear the birds singing in the lyrics of your verse as they conform to the rules of a duodecatain. Birdsong and moonlight magic are a beautiful mix of gifts from nature, so well captured in your words and accompanying picture.
