Oooh! Loved that you took the ABC poetic form to the next level by adding internal rhymes in each line and then to keep the flow smooth you used enjambment! I think this could be the winner!
But is young love shy? We old folks hold hands - sometimes it's to keep from falling or keeping hubby from going too fast. Lol.

I like your positivity, but i've seen some other entries and they had the wow factor.
Young love was shy when it was me - I got so tongue-tied and nervous.
I laughed at your comments about hand-holding for the elderly.
