Oh no! It seems that Margot has really fallen for Miles. I wonder if all her emotions are going to make it hard for her to accomplish her mission to uncover the mystery of Meg's death. Hope Bessie will know how to help Margot rein in her emotions!

He's going to know for sure that I'm not Meg. I am not ready for this! [I'm loving this exquisite choreography, but I'm troubled by the continually arising question: Where is Meg? Miles thinks the rings he put on Megan's finger are really on Meg's. The next time he sees Meg, she will not be wearing the rings. I can love the marvelous drama you are allowing to unfold before me, but my mind is still being niggled by that problem. I hope you can explain it to me.

Margot and Meg's merging, let me see if I can explain it a bit better. In Chapter 14 you had the scene where Margot's body and mind merged with Megs. It was like Margot's body was being pulled to pieces and melding with Meg's body. So, they are both now in one body, but Meg's mind is now in stasis, a state where her mind is lulled into inactivity while Margot and Bessie work to find out who is planning her murder. When all the answers are found, and Margot has stopped Meg's murder, Meg will be brought out of stasis and have her body back. The rings are on the fingers of the one physical body, and will remain when Meg 'wakes up' and Margot returns to herself in her own time. I hope that helps, I was giggling while trying to explain it, wondering where the hell I got this plot from!!

This was a wonderful continuation chapter, Sandra. I am so happy that Miles proposed to Meg/Margot, it certainly was a fantastic event. Margot got smart and questioned Miles about keeping the rings. Astounding--never have I read of a dual-identity situation such as this. Inhabiting the body of her spiritual double to prevent her murder. The suspense is excruciating. Touching love scene.
