Wow. This is really beautiful. It flows well and paints clear pictures both in a visual sense and an emotional one. The story held me interest all the way through. Wonderful job.

I love the feeling or reality meeting with the ethereal that is the mood of this poem. It takes a commonplace setting and transforms it into a transcendent memory, almost deifying the experience and the power of love shared. It reminds me of Aeneas and Dido in the cave during the thunderstorm, when nature saw their love and married them, the forest as a witness.

This is a great poem. I don't see anything that you could change or fix with it. It has a great flow of words and creates a beautiful picture. Thanks for writing it.

What a beautiful tribute to the love you both shared. I am truly sorry for your loss. The words expressed here capture the joy and the sadness of two soulmates bonding in the forest amidst the beauty of nature. May your memories remain sweet and soothing.

What a lovely poem of love and loss, the longing and the memories of time gone. It is what we can do when we lost a loved one, cherish the past times spent together. Well done!

This is a touching write about loss and remembrances, I was with you on this journey and I enjoyed the rhymes too. Your metre started off perfectly penned, but then lost its way, but I still enjoyed the sentiments, love Dolly x

great read missing some commas punctuation in the flow of the work parts such as,
'Through the verdant woods we wandered,' maybe a comma after woods.

Another spot was noticed.
'Spanish galleons float above me,<- (perhaps removal of comma.)
as I search for you, <-( Perhaps removal of comma) in vain.

Thank you for the post.
