Well it looks like Vito is dead, and Marian the sharpshooter has shot him, which certainly seems as being poetic justice, as Vito threatened to kill them all, and I think he certainly was intending to, great episode, and a satisfying one, well done, blessings Roy

Thanks so much Roy.... this was a bit rougher novel than I ever intended by I think life circumstances got into my head and mixed the fiction with the non fiction. As I wrap it up I pray for new beginnings for everyone. Hugs, Carol

I can't think of anything worse than a gun fight in dark passageways with a crazed maniac firing shots wildly! But it is all coming together very well. I am wondering if Charles will turn on Vito and help save everyone (if Vito is still alive ...) You certainly write well and in a way that keeps the interest!

I think Charles giving the key to Marian was the turning point. She rescued Sam and things began to unravel.
