Well I don't think I breathed from the start to the end! Marian will have to be so careful and devious to come out of this. Likewise Sam and Allie, although having been sedated and unconscious it is hard to imagine they will be able to think clearly and quickly for a while. Excellent writing Carol.Looking forward to seeing the full resolution.

Well I don't think I breathed from the start to the end! Marian will have to be so careful and devious to come out of this. Likewise Sam and Allie, although having been sedated and unconscious it is hard to imagine they will be able to think clearly and quickly for a while. Excellent writing Carol.Looking forward to seeing the full resolution.

A well crafted chapter as things wrap up. Characters are being very emotional, making hasty decisions, perhaps mistakes. Once Charles agreed to take Marian back to her room, I thought she should have stopped talking, that was a win. Oh, well...
