Well! Samatha is turning out to be a real James Bondish kind of girl! That heady perfume, that attitude. She really knows her way around in a men's world. I enjoy the dialogues. Makes the story lively and moving. You did a great job. The characters are ae interesting.

It was nice to find another chapter of your book today when I logged on. I practically lost my teeth when Sam was flirting with the sheriff. I was afraid she was going to get herself in trouble but luckily she drugged him and they hit him hard and fast. I thought I'd die laughing that they left him naked in his squad car. Good chapter! Hope things are going a little better for you. I've been praying up a storm hoping that this will come to an end soon for you. God bless!

My head is spinning! Stunning scene--brilliant dialog. The biting exchange between Welcher and James is priceless. Are we supposed to figure out who Sam's boss is? I don't see James listed in the note. Also, still the discrepancy Marion/Marian.

You maintain the interest, and now I see the plot winding back towards Garth and Hank and Emmy. The various threads are all related and well woven together, although we can see only a bit of the tapestry at this point! Good writing Carol.
