I just wonder how many times two different people would have the same tattoo and the same name of Jaz? But it's good to know that Jaz's tattoo said Allie and not her own name. LOL. Great job! And thanks for sharing.

I knew somehow it wasn't Jasmine, but Allie knew, we tend to have an intimate knowledge of the ones we love, and I know how much of you go into your stories, we do give the pen its head, but we are still the writer. Beautifully written Carol, Alllie needed hope. Well done, blessings Roy

Hooray! It's not Jaz! The tattoo helped clarify just like I hoped. But you had me scared with the roses! Lol. I feel most sorry for Garth with possible uncooperativeness both from Allie and the sheriff.

Clever part about the tattoos, and I am glad she remembered in the moment to check the details. Now it will be interesting. If they share that she knows it is not her sister she herself will be in more danger ... and they don't know yet who they can trust. Very suspenseful!!

Another great chapter! I'm glad that Allie was able to identify that the corpse was not Jaz. Now, I'm sure this will take us into further investigation. I wonder where Jaz is though. I'll be waiting! Great job!

I love a good mystery and when you throw in the romance that is extra special. After reading this one chapter, I must now make time to start at the beginning of this book. The characters, mystery, danger are all here for me to enjoy.
In this particular chapter, I loved the heart-wrenching emotion and body language you described as Allie was at the Medical Examiner's Office to see if the body in question was really her sister's. The way you handled Allie's questioning of the tattooing details was very clever.
This is an awesome write and very deserving of six stars :) Thank you!

but some[one] shot at Allie and me last night
he actual autopsy and then the[y] [were] escorted to the morgue.
appeared to be[r] confidant and in control of her emotions.
I found a few spags in this chapter, Carol. Allie was very brave to face up to the identification ordeal. Thank the stars above she was able to say "this is not Jaz," and be able to prove it with her own Tattoo. Well done. Nancy:)

Thank goodness!!!!!! That is just like two sisters who love each other to do something like that. Whoever tried to make this look like Jaz, obviously burnt her face so they couldn't recognise it wasn't her. Now, where is Jaz and who was murdered? Brilliant, Carol. Well done. Love and more hugs. Sandra xxxx

Wow. This reads like a published novel. There were only one or two typos I think I came across. Other than that, it was very well written. Wish I could write like this.
Typos I came across:
1) "I'm sure you can understand how shocked and scared I was; well, I still am, but now it's Time to uncover whoever is behind it.
Not sure if "time" is supposed to be capitalized here. If it is, sorry.
2) There was one other one, but I can't find it. I didn't want to stop reading to copy and paste it here. It's a minor one, pretty sure it's preceded by dialogue. Sorry.
As for the story itself, it was very interesting, even though I haven't read previous installments. The character dialogue seems very natural while also conveying a bit of the personalities and relationships between them. The story is set up nicely; even having only read this chapter I know exactly what's going on. This is a nice murder mystery you got going on. Good luck in your future writing.
