I am into this move and ticked at the movers. So glad Hudson is turned the way he is toward the family. Love the character and now we see how things are really going to go.
Good one Barb.

Thank you for the kind review. Being a military spouse, I've moved often and many times by myself with the boys.

Haha! Love the way the dialogue between these two! And the length is no problem for me, I love a good long chapter or story. Gabriel said, pretty... I'm sure Katherine was blushing. And the ending comment was hilarious. Those movers.... let's say I'd give them a piece of my mind if that happened. I'm sure my mom would. She demands good customer service because she gives good customer service. Gabriel is pushy but helpful. I can't wait to see what happened next!

Ah, so you write from experience. You're welcome!

Barb,
I don't know that I would be complaining about some of the stuff Gabe is doing for her. And he seems to have a sixth sense about when she'll need him. Crazy. Didn't understand what's going on yet with the cat.
Thanks!

Dear barbara, I am sort of glad that the moving men left our heroine in a fix, Because it allowed our hero to step in, and prove himself to be the father you intended. And as required you have, to have a jerk and fraud like Mr. Holland, just to add a little drama. P.S. Dogs, even if they intend to kill a cat, would never grab it around the middle. Their jaws are not large enough. I hope the new officer is smart enough to figure that one out.

Well, lets hope they beat the rain, and a stop on the check to the movers would be in order. Then, let the lawyers negotiate how much should come off the bill for not completing the contract. Thanks for sharing.

The cat issue will be revealed, later. Thank you for the kind review. I am sure Katherine paid in advance. Being a military spouse, I've made moves many times by myself and with four boys. Army husbands are never home when you need them. LOL

This is could be the script to a Lifetime movie. I can actually picture the scenes in my head. Right down to coach's five o'clock shadow and the dogs wagging tail.
In all seriousness, this is well written and edited. Great job, it shows you put in the time and effort needed.

I actually feel many of my stories could qualify for Hallmark. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

Grrr, men like that make me so mad! They are lazy, weak, and without honour or principles!! I'm glad Gabriel has got it sorted. But that company needs to be sued for breaking their end of the contract. Now, what's all this about a big black dog, killing a cat?? Another excellent part. :)) Sandra xxx

Thank you for the kind review. With my husband being military, I've had to move a few times by myself when he was deployed. Not at all good. I am not sure about this dog and cat.

Barb,
You did well having many activities going on in your
Chapter 9 part 1. Which I found really good of how you kept us readers trying to figure IF the dog killed the cat.
Smiles great dialogue throughout this chapter.

Hi Barbara, another well written chapter with a lot of dialogue. Also a good bit of confusion about the dog killing the cat, and the removers making a mess of it all. Looking forward to what's next. Ulla:)))
